What is title case?
Title case gives each word an initial capital letter. This converter solves the task of formatting headings, page titles, article names, and document titles consistently. For similar short-label formatting, compare the Capitalize Words tool.
Where title case is useful
Use title case for short headings, presentation slides, report names, navigation labels, and content titles. Paragraphs are usually better handled by the Sentence Case Converter.
Simple title case limitations
This converter capitalizes every word and lowercases the remaining letters. Editorial style guides often keep short words such as “and,” “of,” or “the” lowercase in some positions, so formal publishing may still require a quick manual review.
